Manual Machinery Operation: Set up, adjust, and safely operate conventional (manual/non-automated) milling machines and drill presses.
Hands-on Production: Perform drilling and milling tasks manually, ensuring consistent quality and accuracy without reliance on automation.
General Factory Support: Maintain an active, flexible approach by helping with general factory tasks, cleaning, and material handling as needed.
Inventory Control: Participate in mandatory monthly physical stocktakes and inventory counts.
Independent & Team Work: Work productively both on your own initiative and cohesively within a larger team.
Minimum requirements
Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience working with manual/conventional machinery in a factory or engineering workshop.
Technical Skills: Strong, practical experience in setting up and operating manual drill presses and milling machines (non-CNC).
Education: Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
Language: Fluent in English with strong, clear verbal communication.
Nationality: Must be a South African citizen.
Attributes: High physical dexterity, willingness to multi-task, and a reliable work ethic.
